Roasting marshmallows

Michael got his first taste of marshmallow roasting tonight.  He wouldn't even try one bite, but he sure did enjoy cooking them over the fire.

I usually have a hard time coming up with the words to accompany my blog posts...today is no different.  


What can I say?  I'm amazed by these two little people every single day....

Happy Mother's Day!

I received a wonderful card and beautiful flowering plant from my two kiddos today.  I also got to sleep in-which was the best gift possible!  Here's a couple from yesterday....

Busted out the seamless for about 20 whole minutes today because I haven't done any of this kind of shot lately.  And I got a cute baby bum picture of Michael around this age so I only thought it fitting to have one of Hannah too!

He's 2!!

We tried to get some "official" 2 year old photos this morning.  The weather has been cold and yucky so this is the first we've been able to get out to do it.  The light was so so and convincing a 2 year old to look at the camera is nearly impossible.
